I am so happy to keep you posted on my progress about my radio program. First of all, I would like to thank you for your various supports to the Lord's ministry in Haiti and other places all over the world. Please keep up the very good work for the Lord is coming soon. 

The end of the past month and the beginning of September is a troubling period of time for most Haitian people. As you know, the majority of the population has no job. So they are struggling to find money in order to send their kids to school. That is why I received many calls from different parents requesting prayers for getting money to purchase various materials for school and tuition. 

Fifteen people have been baptized. There are two worship services in my congregation every Sunday due to the effort of the radio program and other supports from World Radio. Ten people got back to church. Many young people are studying the Word. There are about 600 people that go to church in my main congregation every Sunday. Many other congregations have baptized several people that listen to my messages every day. 

Please pray so that God can open doors for about 1,000 very needy kids that need both an education and spiritual training. I am working hard to change the voodoo influence into Christian influence through the kids. Please remember me in your prayers because it not easy to overcome Satan's kingdom in a country where most people still believe in voodoo.

I was tasked by World Radio to go to Haiti on an exploratory trip to the city of Cap Haitian. Each year World Radio seeks to help some orphan children in a depressed area of the world. Our goal is to find needy orphans where one of our speakers works.

This was my first trip to Haiti. Tim Mastenbrook was the team leader. Team consisted of Donna Ashley; Dan Lindenmuth, Joe Hegarty, Kelly Kurtz, and  Nancy Pharr. Nancy had shipped the supplies ahead of time so that all the supplies that we distributed was already in place upon our arrival.
