HAITI

The yearly seminar was held with more than 250 preachers and church of Christ ministers from different parts of Haiti. I was very busy in preparing many things to welcome the brothers. It was a big privilege to pass the message of salvation to many new preachers, chiefly for those who formerly were from denominational churches before.
Seventeen people were saved and 10 came back home; 25 are studying the Word. I received 80 calls and 40 messages requesting prayers for security.
No words can express my satisfaction for what God has done through my radio program. The past month was very fruitful. More than one hundred people got saved. In a place named Boroc in Leon Habitation, 83 people that were in an evangelical church have been converted to Christ by accepting to be baptized for the remission of their sins. These souls are due to my radio preaching and the reading of two gospel tracts concerning salvation and the Holy Spirit. I shared some thousand copies during a big seminar organized by brother Tim Mastenbrook, CAEC, and myself. There were two U.S. preachers: Jeff Trotter and Jeff Lovitt. They were very helpful to about 95 congregations. About 300 preachers from different locations took part in the seminar. Several of them spoke to me about the gospel tracts and asked some deep questions about the doctrine of the church of Christ.
A week later there was a big national crusade in Cap-Haitien where there were many young people. Many lessons were taught in the morning and every night one preacher preached before about a thousand people in a stadium. By accident I was chosen to preach on Friday. I humbled myself to accept the invitation. Six were baptized after my message.
I received about 50 calls from people of different congregations. One man got back home. Thank-you so much for your various supports to my nation, especially for the Gospel.
2006 Mission Trip to Porta Prince
2005 Mission Trip
I was tasked by World Radio to go to Haiti on an exploratory trip to the city of Cap Haitian. Each year World Radio seeks to help some orphan children in a depressed area of the world. Our goal is to find needy orphans where one of our speakers works.
This was my first trip to Haiti. Tim Mastenbrook was the team leader. Team consisted of Donna Ashley; Dan Lindenmuth, Joe Hegarty, Kelly Kurtz, and Nancy Pharr. Nancy had shipped the supplies ahead of time so that all the supplies that we distributed was already in place upon our arrival.
