Prudencio Rodríguez
August Report 2008
How much we feel the death of my brother Norman Rhodes. He and his family visited me several times. I visited him on one occasion there in Louisiana. In 1976 when I began my work, it was with him. As soon as I learned of his death I sent my condolences to his family. We know that he is resting with the Lord Jesus Christ.
I so much rejoice with brothers Mike Kellett, Mike Eppinette, Ben Adkins, Alan Robertson, and the rest of the brothers. We did a good work and some 18 people repented, and before leaving Neiba at 10:30 at night, we baptized 10 of them. It was all an experience to work with them. We give thanks to God for these souls that came to the feet of Jesus Christ.
Concerning the radio program, we continue talking to thousands of listeners. Each week we receive calls from them and make contact at their homes to help them to know personally the Gospel of Christ. Thanks to God always we have some souls for Christ through radio.
I was orienting brothers Fernándo Cuevas and Manuel Aquino about the radio and was commenting that it is where the success lies to bring souls to the feet of Jesus Christ. One of my experiences is to talk personally on the radio, to receive the call, and to go to them immediately. Other experiences of mine are not to miss the radio. I don’t remember when in my over 30 years on the radio that I have missed being there.
We have had some baptisms. They are: Jimenia Pie, Eduardo Charles, and Joaquín Lantigua. We thank God for the success of our work.
I will be traveling to Puerto Plata, Maimón, and el Cupey where I will be treating some matrimonial problems. Pray that God gives me wisdom. We continue working in Jaibon Laguna Salada.
